Prepare to 𝗷𝗼𝗶𝗻 𝗣𝗲𝗽𝗽𝗲𝗿 𝗮𝘀 𝗮 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗻𝗲𝗿 𝗹𝗮𝗯𝗼𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘆 engaged in validating methods for the characterization of #endocrinedisruptors.

This March we launch the call for “testing laboratories” for the #𝘃𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 of A 𝗡𝗘𝗪 𝗠𝗘𝗧𝗛𝗢𝗗 “TPO-CATALYZED IODINATION ASSAY”

Thyroid peroxidase (TPO) is an enzyme in thyroid follicular cells that uses hydrogen peroxide to iodinate thyroglobulin, producing MIT, DIT, and ultimately the hormones T3 and T4. The method measures the TPO activity and assesses the possibility of test chemicals to inhibit TPO.
